Ashadhi Ekadashi 2026-27

Our school celebrated the auspicious occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi with great devotion, enthusiasm, and cultural fervour. To mark this sacred festival, students participated in a traditional Dindi procession from the school premises to the Shri Vitthal-Rakhumai Temple at Juhu Koliwada, joyfully chanting the names of Lord Vitthal and singing devotional abhangs along the way. At the temple, the students presented soulful bhajans, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere that reflected the rich heritage of Maharashtra’s Warkari tradition. Their heartfelt performances showcased not only their musical talent but also their understanding of the values of devotion, humility and unity. The celebrations continued on the school campus with a variety of religious and cultural activities. Students came dressed in traditional attire, sang devotional songs, recited abhangs and participated in cultural performances highlighting the significance of Ashadhi Ekadashi and the teachings of Sant Dnyaneshwar, Sant Tukaram and other revered saints. The celebration served as a meaningful opportunity for students to connect with India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage while fostering values of faith, discipline, respect and community spirit. The event was a memorable experience, inspiring everyone to embrace the timeless message of devotion and righteousness.
